lamparaprima
Lamparaprima

The Lamparaprima table lamp and wall light by Santa & Cole is an undisputed design milestone and a key piece in the Barcelona-based company’s historic catalogue, conceived in 1979 by designer Pete Sans.

The idea stemmed from a discovery as ingenious as it was intuitive: by bending a clothes hanger, Sans arrived at a metal rod structure of absolute expressiveness that would eventually become his first commercial lamp and the second product ever produced by Santa & Cole. Its design stands out for its great versatility, allowing it to be placed on tables and desks or hung on the wall as a subtle wall light.

The current low-voltage version (12V) transforms the structure itself into an electrical conductor and updates the light source to a transparent glass LED tube that pays homage to the aesthetics of the traditional downlight. Topped by a rotating metal shade in the shape of a visor, the luminaire offers an interactive and poetic gesture: simply turn the visor gently to switch it on and off.

A highly inventive piece that establishes an intimate and tactile relationship with the user.

Key features:

A multifunctional light fitting with a historic design and ingenious character.

An original creation by Pete Sans, designed in 1979 (the second product ever released by Santa & Cole).

Versatile dual design: suitable for use as a table lamp or wall light.

Lightweight metal rod structure with low-voltage (12V) current-carrying technology.

Adjustable metal shade in the shape of a visor with a swivel function.

Touch-sensitive on/off system activated by rotating the light source itself.

Transparent glass diffuser/light source with the aesthetic of a recessed LED tube.

2-metre power cable.

Designed for indoor use only.

Exclusive design by Santa & Cole.

Estimated delivery time: 3 to 6 weeks from order confirmation.

This item is delivered ready for use and requires no assembly.

This item is made to order specifically for you, so it is non-returnable and the right of withdrawal does not apply.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0946/9696/4443/files/santa-_-cole-lamp-table-chrome-steel-lamparaprima-01.jpg?v=1789461368
