Ferm Living is the brand of Scandinavian furniture and accessories created by Trine Andersen, graphic designer, who discovered more than 12 years ago that there was no wallpaper with a good design, at an affordable price. During all this time it has been evolving in its creations and positioning itself as one of the most recognized Danish brands.
The beginnings of Ferm Living were in 2006. Trine Andersen, its founder, had a graphic design studio in Aarhun, Denmark, and during the work of redecorating her house she finds herself with the task of finding the right pattern for her idea of a wallpaper, but when she finally found it, it was too expensive. Trine thought that other people could be found in her situation and that is how the first collection was born, with only 10 wallpaper references, in February 2006. Then everything was very fast and, after more than 12 years later, it is known as one of the reference Nordic design brands. Their passion for authentic design and clear functionality is the basis of the brand, challenging themselves to shape the future and feeling proud to create products that help balance the contrasts of life. From their headquarters in Copenhagen, they work with artisans from all around the world, fusing their Scandinavian mentality with global skills and traditions. In this way soft shapes, rich textures and deep colors are created and that allows to create an authentic and composed atmosphere, while some of its avant-garde forms, striking patterns and curious details add a touch of the unexpected.
