One of Marcel Gascoin's most emblematic pieces, the C-Chair dining chair, was designed in 1947. This piece represents the aesthetic power and functionality characteristic of the designer, as well as being a social symbol of post-war France.
C-Chair was originally designed out of necessity, to accommodate the new sizes of houses built at the end of the second world war, where Gascoin compensated for the lack of space with simple furniture.
Suitable for both indoors and outdoors, C-Chair is made of teak wood and high-density polyethylene wicker, which in appearance is very similar to natural paper rope.
The natural teak structure will develop a silver-grey patina over time, giving character to the entire design, while its seat and backrest are specially designed to withstand any type of weather.
C-Chair is made to order and the estimated delivery time is 3 to 6 weeks.
