CH26

The CH26 dining chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1950, was put into production by Carl Hansen & Søn in close collaboration with the Hans J. Wegner design studio and according to Wegner's original working drawing.

The chair is part of a series of iconic chairs that Wegner created for Carl Hansen & Søn. Together with the CH22 armchair, Wegner created a working drawing to transfer the form of the armchair into a dining chair.

In 2016, the same year as the reintroduction of CH22, Carl Hansen & Søn brought the design of CH26 to life.

CH26 closely resembles the lounge version with its organic forms, refined backrest, and hand-woven seat, and is ideally proportioned for long periods of sitting at a dining table or desk.

You can find CH26 in various finishes. 

CH26 is handcrafted in Denmark, and the estimated delivery time is 14 to 16 weeks.
