The panels are the basis for creating the String shelf.

The panels have a ladder shape and can be combined with shelves, magazine racks, desks, chests of drawers and cabinets among many other accessories to design the system that best suits your needs.



The floor panels are available in three heights, 58, 115 and 200cm, and one depth, 30cm, which makes them only suitable for accessories of this same depth.

The foot of the panel rests on the floor, which stabilizes the shelf and gives it a light appearance.



Each panel includes its hardware: screws, plugs and spacers.

Algunas cosas se asocian tan fuertemente con un momento específico que en realidad terminan siendo atemporales. Esa es una forma de resumir la contribución de Nisse y Kajsa Strinning a la historia del diseño escandinavo. La editorial sueca Bonnier se dio cuenta que la mayoría de los hogares no estaban amueblados adecuadamente, prestando atención a las estanterías, lo que les dificultaba mucho vender libros. En 1949 anunciaron un concurso en el que pedían un diseño para un estante con algunos criterios. El estante tenía que ser asequible, fácil de enviar e, igualmente, fácil de montar. Naturalmente, String se convirtió en una solución muy común en los hogares suecos durante la década de 1950 y 1960. Durante varios años, la producción de String fue inexistente. No fue hasta el 2004 cuando la marca revivió con un nuevo concepto adaptado a las necesidades de hoy en día. Nisse Strinning contribuyo al renacimiento de su propia marca con un nuevo diseño llamado String Pocket que se convirtió inmediatamente en un éxito y sigue siendo uno de los productos estrella de la marca en la actualidad.
