Louis Weisdorf's Turbo was designed in 1965 but did not go into production until 1967 and has been hugely successful over the years. It is a perfect example of design: simple in form but complex in structure, combining a sense of lightness and strength in a beautifully sculptural whole.

The inspiration for this lamp is the lightness of Japanese rice paper, transformed into a more durable and resistant version.

The outer curve of the lamp is formed by twelve similar spiral sheets that form a flower-shaped globe that protects the light.

The Turbo pendant lamp is a perfect example of Weisdorf's passion for repetitive elements, which he used in most of his works.

It is available in several sizes.
