Swedish designer Alf Svensson created the Collector lamp series in the 1950s.

One of the three designs, the wall lamp, is characterized by its solid brass band that supports a conical metal shade that projects light in two directions.

Small perforations in the shade allow light to filter through.

The name refers to the collectible nature of the series, which represents the best of mid-century lighting design.

Collector is designed to be used with its textile cable exposed or installed directly to a light source, hiding the cable from view.
