OAK Lighting is a collection of lamps by Serax that strikes a flawless balance between sculptural art and functional design. The defining feature of this series lies in its glass surface, which meticulously and organically captures the rough, characteristic texture of tree bark.

This irregular texture interacts uniquely with light, filtering it to create evocative shadows, three-dimensional reflections and a deeply soothing atmosphere in the room. Available in three sizes and a carefully curated palette of six colours, this is a family of luminaires with a strong tactile and visual identity, designed to serve as an artistic accent piece in any contemporary interior.

The collection takes its cue and inspiration from the silhouette and presence of a large oak tree in the garden of a friend of the designer. Behind this project is Filip Arickx, known as the co-founder of the iconic fashion house A.F. Vandevorst, who has been passionately dedicated to the art of glassblowing for six years. After nearly three years of technical experimentation alongside Serax, Arickx has masterfully managed to convey the power of nature and the delicacy of hand-blown glass in this unique collection.
