The Asa table lamp by Santa & Cole stands out for its ingenious continuous-tube structure, which is both lightweight and robust, with its upper section forming a practical integrated handle that makes it easy to carry.

Designed by Miguel Milá in 1961, it formed part of the first collection by TRAMO (“Trabajos Molestos”), the firm the designer founded to self-produce his work in post-war Spain.

The piece comprises three perfectly proportioned essential elements: its matt metal tubular frame, a cylindrical shade made of translucent white methacrylate, and a minimalist switch reduced to a discreet dot that is operated by a gentle pull. A lamp with a timeless aesthetic that casts a soft, cosy glow over bedside tables, sideboards or workspaces.
