In 1952, Peter Hvidt designed his first family home. The site was located in Klampenborg, a small suburb north of Copenhagen that was gaining popularity among Denmark's most influential architects, such as Arne Jacobsen, Flemming Lassen and Kay Fisker.

The house had meticulously crafted furniture, all designed by Hvidt and Mølgaard themselves. 

Guild is the contemporary adaptation of the bookcase in the master bedroom of the architect's house.

The organic form of this bookcase, which subtly reflected the curves of the family garden, was inspired by the work presented by Hvidt & Mølgaard at the 1951 Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition.

Guild is available in various finishes and sizes. 

Guild is made to order and the estimated delivery time is 3 to 6 weeks.
