ITA, by OEO Studio, fuses Scandinavian design and Japanese craftsmanship, resulting in a series of tables and seating with a minimalist aesthetic.
Ita is a collection of buildable furniture inspired by miyadaiku carpentry, a centuries-old Japanese craft seen everywhere from furniture to temples, which uses integral cuts to join wooden elements together without the need for screws or glue.
Visually simple yet elegant, Ita's design pays special attention to detail, resulting in timeless and durable pieces.
Focused on functionality and natural materials, the bench is available in two sizes and has been meticulously crafted to accommodate both intimate dinners and larger gatherings.
To add an extra layer of comfort to the Ita OS5 bench, a bespoke seat cushion has been developed in a rich cognac-colored leather.
With discreet and elegant straps, the cushion is easy to put on and take off the bench, while subtly referencing the Japanese Obi belts found on kimonos.
