The Babel table lamp by Santa & Cole is presented as a striking sculpture of light, conceived by the artist Àngel Jové at the height of Spain’s democratic transition.

The piece alludes to the iconic biblical tower, offering a defiant perspective in which the form appears fully realised and possesses an unquestionable power to captivate. Crafted entirely from a single column of alabaster, its design served as a provocative statement through the use of this material with its unique veining and expressive character.

Thanks to its handcrafted production process, no two pieces are identical, making each lamp a unique object that casts a warm and intimate glow, perfect for sparking conversation when placed on sideboards, side tables or in living areas.
