The Cesta table and floor lamp by Santa & Cole is one of the most iconic objects created by the Spanish design master Miguel Milá.

Conceived in 1962 following the chance discovery of an abandoned opaline glass globe in Barcelona, the piece emerged as a response to the need to embrace and protect that fragile glass sphere. Inspired by the traditional lanterns found in coastal homes and country estates, the Cesta stands out for its handcrafted lantern made from steam-bent cherry wood, hand-polished and assembled with the utmost precision by European craftsmen.

A timeless lamp that sits naturally on a table or directly on the floor, casting a soft, warm glow that embodies the essence and warmth of Mediterranean well-being.
