Carl Hansen & Søn comenzó en 1908, cuando el ebanista danés Carl Hansen abrió un pequeño taller de muebles en la isla danesa de Funen. Durante más de 100 años, la empresa se ha especializado en proporcionar una artesanía de muebles excepcional que da vida a conceptos de diseño visionarios. Y, aunque muchas cosas han cambiado en Carl Hansen & Søn a lo largo de los años, los fundamentos son los mismos.  La cooperación entre Carl Hansen & Søn y Hans J.
