Hans J. Wegner created the CH53 footrest in 1966 and it clearly demonstrates his passion for both craftsmanship and everyday functionality.

With a solid wood frame and a hand-woven paper cord seat, the footrest's simple and elegant form makes it an ideal complement to the CH44 armchair, but it is also stylish on its own for the entrance hall, bedroom, or kitchen. 

The CH53 footrest is available in two heights: a 43 cm high version, which makes it perfect as an extra seat at the table, and the low 39 cm version, which complements CH44 as a footrest.

CH53 is handmade in Denmark to order, and the estimated delivery time is 10-12 weeks.
