Designed in 1991 by Federico Correa, Alfonso Milá and Miguel Milá for Santa & Cole, the Diana floor lamp was conceived to furnish the official mayor’s office in Olympic-era Barcelona, intended to host representatives of the international political community.

With a classic, modern, slender yet sturdy appearance, its design begins with a generous circular metal base from which emerges a stepped shaft that tapers in diameter as it rises. At the top sits a gently conical cardboard shade that diffuses the warm light from two bulbs strategically positioned to avoid casting shadows.

This technical specification covers both sizes in the collection (Diana and Diana Mayor), ideal both for reading nooks and for taking centre stage in spacious living rooms or reception offices.

It is available with a metal frame in satin nickel or chrome, with a choice of the two sizes in the range.

Metal frame options:

• Satin nickel: A matt metallic finish offering great elegance and understated style.
• Chrome: A glossy metallic finish with contemporary highlights.

Size options:

• Diana: Total height of 146 cm with a shade measuring Ø 40 cm (base) x Ø 35 cm (top) x 24 cm high. Includes a white translucent cardboard top diffuser (suitable for energy-saving bulbs). Weight: 9.6 kg.
• Diana Mayor: Total height 183 cm with a shade measuring Ø 58 cm (base) x Ø 53 cm (top) x 31 cm high, without top diffuser. Weight: 12.5 kg.
