The FAD table lamp by Santa & Cole is a masterclass in industrial craftsmanship, designed by the master craftsman Miguel Milá in 1973 for the headquarters of Fostering Arts and Design (FAD) in Barcelona.

The piece stands out for its solid cylindrical structure made of solid oak, hollowed out lengthways by vertical incisions and mounted on the characteristic cross-shaped base that distinguishes many of the designer’s classics. This base matches the lower diameter of its shade, creating a compositional dialogue of serene proportions, timeless elegance and pure forms.

Available in two sizes – the standard FAD version and the compact FAD Menor variant – the lamp features a white cardboard shade that casts a warm, even glow, adjustable to suit the needs of the space.
