Created to be adaptable, light and strong, the Result chair and Pyramid tables collection is the last word in the construction of cut sheet metal.

Originally created by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld while working at Ahrend in the 1950s, the collection has been relaunched by HAY along with Ahrend. When it was initially launched in the 50s, it was considered a triumph in its innovative use of steel sheet, giving a new direction for its use in products in an organic way. Today, both individual pieces and collection, it is notable for its use of materials, simplistic construction and for being light enough to move around. These durable designs manifest functional excellence and aesthetic lightness that have been tested in real environments over several generations.

The Result chair has a fine steel sheet base with oak seat and backrest, which retains maximum flexibility, lightness and strength, while maintaining the minimalist design. Originally a popular chair in schools in the 50s, Result's clean aesthetics and durability mean that it can be used in many public and private contexts. Available in a variety of wood finishes and base colors that can be combined with the Pyramid table.
