Lauro table lamp

This collection of light fittings is defined by a striking, generously proportioned piece that bridges the past and the present, designed to revive the aesthetic legacy of the 1970s and evoke deep emotions in contemporary spaces.

Its structure and materials evoke the emotional language of the industry of that era, featuring a steel base and stem—a material that is difficult to shape—whose innovative curvature presented a major challenge at the time and remains so today.

The methacrylate shade offers great versatility in terms of light and function, as it can be rotated and adjusted in height along the stem to direct the light as required: the translucent opal version casts a diffused, enveloping light, whilst the double-layered black option provides a direct, focused beam.

Emulating traditional lamps, the system operates with a single LED bulb that combines efficiency and warmth. First released in 1973, this iconic design is an original work by P. Aragay and J. Pérez Mateo, reissued by the prestigious firm Marset, championing the values of authenticity, durability and architectural presence.

The collection is presented in a unified manner across three main types to adapt precisely to different layout and interior design needs: a desk lamp version measuring 41 cm in height and 38 cm at the base, a floor lamp version rising to a height of 135 cm, and a functional wall-mounted version with a height of 50 cm.

Key features:

  • A collection of historic design lighting, originally created by P. Aragay and J. Pérez Mateo in 1973 and reissued by Marset.
  • Available in coordinated versions as a floor lamp, desk lamp (table lamp) and wall lamp.
  • Iconic steel structure with a curved stem, available in chrome or charcoal finishes.
