Copenhagen-based artist and graphic designer Karolina Székely presents a series of works that fuse collage, monoprint and pictorial techniques, exploring the relationship between colour, texture and composition.

In each piece, Karolina starts by experimenting with materials and graphic forms, superimposing hand-painted elements and cut-outs to create abstract, contemporary collages that combine analogue and digital processes.

With a background in psychology and a self-taught career in graphic design, Karolina has developed her own visual language, characterised by a mixture of traditional watercolour, mixed media and a free and experimental approach. Her works invite us to discover new connections between colour, matter and space, bringing a fresh and contemporary vision to contemporary art.
