Verner Panton designed Panthella in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 1971.
Panthella is one of Panton's most emblematic works, and with this lamp the designer sought to create a light in which both the base and the lampshade served as reflectors.
Panton combined this idea with the organic forms so characteristic of his creations, resulting in ambient light without any glare.
In 2020, Louis Poulsen introduced a new version of Panthella in its original design, with slight modifications to make it a functional and modern lamp, suitable for today's lighting requirements.
Panthella incorporates a new diffusing screen that avoids visible shadows on the opal screen. The stand has been adjusted so that the flared structure and metal convergence points remain straight and white over time.
In addition, the updated edition always offers a pleasant, soft and diffused light.
Panthella includes a 250cm plastic cable with an on/off switch.
Phantella is suitable for E27 LED bulbs, not included.
