Designed by Ronan Bouroullec, Flos’s Luce Sferica is a modular pendant light that combines traditional craftsmanship and industrial technique to create a poetic piece with a striking sculptural presence.

Inspired by the ephemeral beauty of water droplets on a wire or soap bubbles floating in the air, it transforms lighting into a living, light and magnetic structure.

Its core consists of a horizontal body made of polished extruded aluminium, housing two linear LED light sources designed to emit light simultaneously upwards and downwards. This metal shaft is encased in a fluid sequence of hand-blown clear glass spheres, separated by traditional spacers that accentuate its geometric rhythm. It incorporates a touch dimmer integrated into the luminaire itself, allowing the upward and downward light intensities to be controlled independently.

Designed to be installed as a single piece or in arrangements comprising several parallel rows, Luce Sferica is available in three sizes (S1, S2 and S3) that blend seamlessly to suit both residential projects and large-scale contract installations.
