First released in 1961, Gianfranco Frattini's Model 597 is the lamp that launched him as a lighting designer.
The unique and playful shape of Model 597 perfectly encapsulates Frattini's extraordinary approach to the aesthetics of light. The nylon fringe was inspired by both the fashion world and the fringed entrance curtains commonly found in bars and grocery stores in Italy in the late 1950s.
Thanks to the variety of side and fringe bulbs, Model 597 emits a 360° set of indirect ambient light, while the reflective aluminum cover adds warmth to the overhead light.
Model 597 includes a plastic cord with an on/off switch.
Model 597 is suitable for 5 E14 bulbs (not included)
