Pacha pouf

The legendary French designer Pierre Paulin conceived the Pacha collection in 1975, revolutionising the contemporary furniture scene by replacing the rigidity and austerity of the post-war era with an organic, sculptural and free-flowing aesthetic.

As a natural extension of this concept, the Pacha ottoman perfectly embodies Paulin’s pioneering vision of low-level living: a modern and relaxed way of inhabiting a space, dispensing with conventional legs to bring relaxation closer to the floor in an enveloping manner.

With meticulously studied proportions and a rounded silhouette reminiscent of a cloud, the Pacha ottoman subtly elevates its structure on a stylised circular base.

Its distinctive inward-sloping seams mould the foam to ensure ergonomic firmness combined with exceptional softness, serving both as a matching footrest for the Pacha Lounge Chair and as a standalone accent seat with a striking sculptural presence.

Each version offers a choice between a base finished in black or pearl gold, as well as the option of a fixed base or one with a swivel mechanism.

Upholstery and composition options:

  • Artemidor (Dedar): Haute couture upholstery combining bouclé and chenille yarns to create a richly textured, soft and three-dimensional surface with a striking tactile quality, composed of 48 per cent cotton, 30 per cent viscose, 15 per cent acrylic, 5 per cent polyester and 2 per cent linen.
  • Karakorum (Dedar): A technical fabric with a bouclé-style appearance that evokes astrakhan fur, with an extremely soft, plush feel and rich in nuances, composed of 42 per cent wool, 33 per cent viscose, 24 per cent cotton and 1 per cent polyamide.
  • Harp (GUBI): A high-end upholstery fabric with a refined texture and a highly durable bouclé-style tactile structure, composed of 70 per cent cotton, 15 per cent acrylic, 8 per cent polyester, 5 per cent wool and 2 per cent polyamide.
  • Belsuede Special: A fabric with a velvety finish, offering extraordinary softness and an elegant appearance, with excellent resistance to continuous use, composed of 90 per cent polyester and 10 per cent cotton.
  • Dandi: An upholstery fabric with a sophisticated weave and a warm feel, featuring a subtle visual interplay of criss-crossing threads, composed of 65 per cent cotton and 35 per cent polyester.
  • Guest: A compact, soft fabric with a contemporary, smooth appearance and high resistance to wear and tear, composed of 100 per cent recycled polyester.
  • Mumble: A thick upholstery fabric with a textured surface, substantial body and a soft, plush feel offering deep warmth, composed of 45 per cent acrylic, 24 per cent polyester, 12 per cent wool, 12 per cent cotton and 7 per cent viscose.
  • Vidar (Kvadrat): A thick-yarn, loop-woven virgin wool fabric with rich colour depth and a matt texture, composed of 94 per cent virgin wool and 6 per cent nylon.
  • Dora Bouclé: A richly textured fabric with pronounced loops that offers a cosy feel and a distinct tactile character, composed of 38 per cent viscose, 31 per cent acrylic, 14 per cent cotton, 14 per cent polyester and 3 per cent linen.
  • Tiger Mountain (Dedar): A haute couture jacquard velour inspired by Tibetan tiger skins, with a sumptuous feel and expressive graphic relief, composed of 63 per cent viscose and 37 per cent cotton.

Key features:
