Originally designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1963 and reissued by Flos in 2025, the Seki-Han Suspension reflects the Italian designer’s mastery and his profound knowledge of woodcraft.

Its masterful construction draws on shipbuilding techniques to shape two horizontal slats of ash wood, joined by refined chrome-plated metal fittings.

The two panels rotate smoothly around a central tubular diffuser, allowing the light output and diffusion to be variably adjusted between direct and indirect light, whether symmetrical or asymmetrical. The slit that remains visible between the panels always projects a subtle line of light, creating a poetic effect where the immateriality of the lighting blends with the tactile warmth of the wood.

Fitted with a bespoke dimmable linear LED light source (with a G13 socket) and also compatible with standard T8 LED tubes, Seki-Han is a living architectural piece, ideal for illuminating dining tables, bars or workspaces with serene elegance.
