Its modular structure is defined by a set of different solid wood and high-density MDF components that can be arranged and positioned at the height, colour and sequence that best suits the user, transforming the piece into a personalised and dynamic solution.

To ensure stability and durability for everyday use, the central post and a conical section are crafted from stained wood, whilst the remaining components are meticulously finished with a high-quality lacquer and a polyurethane (PU) coating, providing a sophisticated and durable high-gloss finish.

This unique piece was designed by Mia Hamborg for the prestigious firm &Tradition in 2010. In creating it, the designer drew inspiration from the classic wooden toys of her childhood — specifically Brio’s iconic stackable clown — with the aim of evoking a sense of joy and offering a truly Nordic approach to democratic design.
