The Sylvestrina portable table lamp by Santa & Cole, designed in 1974 by Enric Sòria and Jordi Garcés, pays homage in its name to Silvestre, a fisherman from Port de la Selva renowned for his tall, lean and elegant figure.

Free from cables or fuel, this discreet lamp takes up minimal space on the table, mimicking the subtle presence of a bottle of wine. Its switch mechanism is as intuitive as pressing down on the base to choose between two levels of brightness or to switch it off. Designed to last, its structure can be easily dismantled into three separate parts (battery base, light source and glass cylinder), making maintenance and repair straightforward.
