The Hoop stool revives a unique piece of occasional furniture designed in Barcelona between the 1960s and 1970s in the historic workshops of master craftsman Mr Blanes.

With over 130 years of family dedication to plant-based materials, Trenat reissues this lightweight, sculptural piece, reviving its evocative circular geometry: a set of curved rattan hoops that intertwine to form a lightweight yet firmly stable base.

Handcrafted using local production methods, its circular, cane-woven seat is characterised by a painstakingly rolled edge that defines its visual character.

The piece is available in four finishes that strike a balance between classic simplicity and graphic contrast, allowing you to choose the bindings and edging in natural rattan strips for a pure, single-material design; in leather straps for a understated and elegant touch; or in coloured straps (white, green or red) that lend a fresh and contemporary feel.

A versatile and compact piece that works naturally as an occasional seat, footrest or small side table in living rooms and bedrooms, as well as on porches or covered terraces.
