The Tired Man Lounge Chair is a generously proportioned, relaxed armchair, designed to offer a sense of exceptional warmth and comfort.

Its curved silhouette, with enveloping armrests, creates a warm and cosy seat, designed for true relaxation. In this version, the sheepskin upholstery provides a curly, cosy texture that is soft to the touch and particularly pleasant for everyday use. Each hide features natural variations in structure, density and thickness, making every piece unique and distinguished by its own subtle colour nuances.

With oak legs featuring a solid wood core, available in a natural or dark oiled finish, and brass front castors for easy movement, The Tired Man combines craftsmanship, presence and functionality. A matching footrest is also available to complete the comfort experience.

Designed by Flemming Lassen, The Tired Man, also known as Den trætte mand, was unveiled in 1936 at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition and has since become an icon of Danish design. The design was relaunched in 2015 and is available in plush upholstery, including sheepskin as a nod to the original version. Flemming Lassen described the armchair as “as warm and cosy as a polar bear cub in its mother’s arms”, an image that perfectly sums up his intention.
