The TMC floor lamp by Santa & Cole, designed in 1961 by Miguel Milá, is one of the most iconic pieces of Spanish industrial design, conceived as the ‘tuxedo’ version within the famous TM family.

In 2011, to mark its fiftieth anniversary, its definitive edition was unveiled, restoring the circular opal white methacrylate shade to its original shape and thickness, and introducing a sophisticated magnet-guided up-and-down mechanism that leaves the upper shaft completely smooth. Its two-tone structure combines a lower half in black metal with a chrome-plated upper section.

True to Milá’s ingenuity, the light is switched on and off with a gentle tug on the cable, resulting in a timeless and versatile piece capable of blending into any space.
