FOKU CHAIR EXPO
Inspired by the shapes of traditional Japanese garden tools, Foku is an armchair made of simple geometric shapes fused into a sculptural furniture design.
Foku, which means fork in Japanese, is a reference to the traditional raking tools used in Japanese Zen gardens for centuries. The fork, used to gently create minimalist lines and ripples in the sand, is reinterpreted in the fluted seat of the Foku chair.
Several layers of carefully chosen foam types combine to ensure a soft and very comfortable seating experience, as well as highlighting the chair's sculptural and voluminous forms.
Each Foku armchair includes two metal supports that allow several Foku's to be integrated into a sofa.
