The sofa’s internal sturdiness is ensured by a machined solid wood frame with high mechanical strength. The seat suspension incorporates a system of non-sagging steel springs (nosag), providing continuous elastic support that distributes weight evenly and prevents long-term deformation. The entire frame is upholstered with high-resilience (HR) polyurethane foam and a polyester filling core. To maximise ergonomics and achieve enveloping padding, the contact areas of the seat and backrest incorporate an internal quilt-style cover, compartmentalised and filled with a technical blend of shredded foam and cotton fibres.

The various modules are secured to one another using a system of concealed metal connecting fittings, which facilitate firm anchoring and allow for future reconfiguration of the unit.

The model is available in the following fabrics:

• Grain (Gabriel): A grainy texture made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. It is a highly durable technical fabric with excellent abrasion resistance (Martindale) and a textured surface that offers a dry feel and a very contemporary matt finish.
• Mylla (Kvadrat): A dense, textured fabric made from 100% recycled polyester. Developed using irregular weave yarns that mimic the organic imperfections of natural fibres, providing visual volume, wear resistance and optimal acoustic performance.
• Coda / Cipher (Kvadrat): A three-dimensional, double-layered fabric combining 42% recycled polyester, 27% viscose, 24% recycled cotton and 7% linen. It stands out for its characteristic colour contrast between the base layer and the openwork relief on top, offering high structural density and a design with strong visual impact.
• Vidar (Kvadrat): A premium wool upholstery fabric comprising 94% virgin wool and 6% nylon, originally discontinued and reissued under the direction of Raf Simons. It features a large, visible texture with a classic satin bouclé weave that imparts a deep lustre and exceptional resistance to heavy use.
• Gentle (Kvadrat): An exclusive stretch-knit velvet comprising 60% new wool, 20% polyester and 20% nylon. As a wool-based velvet, it offers an extremely soft, dense pile surface, free from synthetic sheen, providing a matt sophistication and unrivalled tactile warmth.
