Within the Twins universe, Formal Twin is conceived as an armchair “dressed” in a sober manner, where the finish and the piping detail are what define its character. In the Designer’s Edition, the change in the piping’s tone further accentuates the silhouette, highlighting the piece’s iconic profile without any excess.

Júlia Esqué conceives Twins as an exploration of how “clothing” transforms an object’s identity. Starting from the same structure, the designer proposes two contrasting expressions, and in Formal Twin, she focuses this idea on the precision of the line, the control of volume, and the elegance of the detail.
