BM1160 HUNTING TABLE

The BM1160 Hunting Table was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1950. 

First shown at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition as part of Mogensen's “hunting lodge theme”, the table is accompanied by matching hunting chair.

BM1160 is slightly narrow at the top, making it suitable for smaller spaces and allowing for more intimate social gatherings. In addition, the table is built for frequent use with rounded corners and edges made of solid wood, revealing Mogensen's passion for democratic and accessible design.

Stability is ensured by the use of two diagonal metal reinforcing rods that connect the tabletop and frame to aesthetically pleasing effect. Other details, such as the mortise and tenon joints of the legs made of contrasting wood, accentuate the handcrafted expression of the table.

BM1160 is available in oak with its brass rods or in walnut with brass or stainless steel rods.

BM1160 is made by expert craftsmen and the estimated delivery time is 12 to 14 weeks.
