The Duo table lamp by Santa & Cole is an iconic design conceived in 1973 by the renowned designer André Ricard.

Originally designed for boardroom tables, the piece fulfils a dual functional purpose: to provide precise, focused lighting over the work surface without obstructing the line of sight during a meeting. Its design comprises two symmetrical and opposing elements which, like yin and yang, complement each other with an impeccable sense of proportion.

The light output can be directed by independently rotating its two opal white inner glass shades, available in a matt black finish —to concentrate the light on the work surface— or a translucent white finish —to provide complementary ambient lighting—.

Reissued in 2023 in collaboration with its designer and adapted to the efficiency of LED technology, the black metal frame incorporates a central push-button that acts as the main switch for this gem of Spanish design.
