Designed in 1931 by Josep Torres Clavé — a founding member of GATCPAC alongside architects such as Josep Lluís Sert and Joan Baptista Subirana — this lamp was originally created as a collective signature to be featured in the avant-garde buildings constructed by the group.

Santa & Cole is reissuing this historic piece, faithfully adhering to Torres Clavé’s original plans, offering a showcase of timeless rationalism that remains perfectly modern more than ninety years after its creation.

Its polished aluminium structure features a solid metal base and a tall, wide-sectioned shaft topped by a manually operated ball joint.

This mechanism allows the conical shade to be freely adjusted upwards to create indirect ambient light, or directed sideways for focused, direct lighting, adapting with complete versatility to the user’s needs.
