F300 lounge chair

When it first appeared in the late 1960s, Pierre Paulin's F300 caused quite a stir. With its flowing curves and use of innovative materials, it looked like a chair from the future.

Visually distinctive and extremely comfortable, the F300 became an instant icon, prized for its striking appearance and enormous versatility, even earning a place in the MoMA's permanent collection.

Perfectly aligned with the informal, low-slung, relaxed aesthetic of 1970s living rooms, it also embodied a timeless futurism that has allowed it to remain fully relevant today.

The first F300s were made of fiberglass or injected polyurethane, allowing for ergonomic comfort while maintaining a visually light expression.

Responsibly updated for the 21st century, the F300 is now produced in Italy using HiREK® polymer, obtained from industrial plastic waste. Maintaining the durability of plastic, HiREK is lightweight and resistant to UV rays, weathering, and pressure.

It also creates a smooth, glossy surface without the need for additional finishing processes, perfectly replicating the performance and aesthetics of the original materials and minimizing waste during production.
