The About A series, designed by Hee Welling for HAY, is a multifunctional seating series.

The chair's streamlined seat is made from post-consumer recycled polypropylene, and its wooden frame is made from oak or walnut and finished with an environmentally friendly water-based lacquer. 

With the About A collection, Hee Welling wanted to reach a new level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics. The idea was to develop a chair that would work equally well around a dining table and a conference table, as well as in a restaurant, café or office. Thanks to their simple and straightforward design, the chairs can be combined with many types of furniture and interiors.
