The Parade Portable Lamp by HAY, designed by Viola Heyn-Johnsen and Jonas Trampedach, was born out of a desire to create an ambient light with a sculptural quality.

Its design combines a square base with an arched top made of coloured glass, and this geometry means that the lamp’s appearance changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed, lending it depth and presence even when switched off.

The carefully selected sizes and colours complement one another in terms of height, shade and colour temperature, creating a particularly sculptural effect when several lamps are placed together.

This portable version retains the unique character of the original design whilst adding the functionality to move it easily between rooms or take it outdoors.

The Parade Portable Lamp is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, features a dimmer switch in the base and uses a replaceable G4 bulb (included). It is charged via a USB cable (included).
