In_Carnation takes its inspiration from a literary image, ‘clavos de amor’ (nails of love), the Mexican name for carnations, and transforms it into a fragrance with a precise and serene sensibility.

Jean-Claude Ellena crafts this fragrance as an intimate, floral and spicy gesture, where the carnation reveals its full personality: clean, vibrant and slightly piquant, like a fresh petal tinged with a hint of clove.

On the opening, the carnation is direct and luminous, with that characteristic spicy quality reminiscent of cloves, yet without becoming heavy—rather, it is airy and elegant.

As it settles on the skin, the heart reveals the other side of the flower: a soft, enveloping vanilla that is not gourmand, but creamy and delicate, like a warm veil that rounds off the initial spiciness and brings an unexpected tenderness.

At the base, traces of rose essence appear; they do not dominate, but simply caress the composition, leaving a subtly floral, clean and refined trail.

The result is a fragrance that evolves from a spicy, floral opening to a warmer, more comforting heart, ending with a delicate, almost powdery finish that lingers close to the skin with a quiet elegance.
