The Americana series by Santa & Cole is built around a satin-finish nickel articulated arm that supports an elegant white linen shade.

The arm gently moves the light closer or further away, pivoting on its wide metal base in a nod to the rhythmic movement of swing.

Conceived by Miguel Milá in 1964 as a tribute to George Hansen’s famous articulated lamps, the collection refines that geometry by incorporating a single-segment arm at a right angle, whose upper ball joint allows for horizontal rotation whilst reducing the lever effect.

A timeless design companion, ideal for moments of reading or intimate conversation, which never goes out of fashion thanks to its formal clarity and impeccable functionality. This piece was designed by Miguel Milá for Santa & Cole.
