The Maap wall light series by FLOS, designed by Erwan Bouroullec, brings together three of the designer’s most characteristic creative themes: geometry, natural structures and lightness.

Conceived as an expansive surface of light, the piece stands out for its body, crafted from an ultra-lightweight, tear-resistant fibre membrane with a texture similar to paper. During installation, the shade is manually crumpled over a solid iron frame with a circular base and powerful magnets, juxtaposing geometric precision with the unpredictability of organic form.

The result is an enveloping luminous landscape that diffuses soft light over large areas, projecting a presence that is both radically simple and inherently complex.
