Rooted in the fundamental concept of the straight line, Numbra is designer Teruhiro Yanagihara’s first collection for the Danish firm &Tradition.

This pendant lamp combines a clean, linear silhouette, lacquered solid oak panels and cast aluminium fittings to achieve a minimalist design of serene expressiveness.

Its internal structure of extruded stainless steel supports an extruded acrylic diffuser with a sandblasted finish that casts a warm, even and dimmable light. The combination of die-cast aluminium components – which have been tumbled and lacquered – alongside carefully crafted sections of solid oak with a clear lacquer finish, reflects the mastery of contemporary Japanese design applied to high-end European cabinetmaking and production.
