Pedrera coffee table

Designed by Barba Corsini in 1955, the Pedrera coffee table is an undisputed icon of modern Spanish design, produced by the prestigious Danish firm GUBI.

Originally conceived for the penthouses of La Pedrera (Casa Milà) in Barcelona, the piece draws direct inspiration from the architecture of Antoni Gaudí: its slender, sculptural steel base and its gently rounded glass top replicate the undulating curves and parabolic arches that characterise the famous Modernist building.

The collection is available in two main variants depending on the type of glass. The first option features a textured glass top available in three luminous finishes — clear, smoked and bronze — combined with steel frames in black, chrome or brass.

The second variant features a classic clear glass top, which can also be combined with bases in black, chrome or brass finishes. A piece with a light, sophisticated and timeless presence that brings dynamism and historical value to any contemporary living room.

Key features:

  • Original historic design by Barba Corsini created in 1955, reissued by GUBI.
  • Sculptural and organic silhouette inspired by the sinuous forms of Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Milà (La Pedrera).
  • Slender, lightweight steel base with finishes in black, chrome or brass.
  • Two top configurations: textured glass (in clear, smoked or bronze finishes) or classic clear glass.
  • Glass top with a rounded, organic profile that enhances visual spaciousness and the passage of light.
  • A 20th-century design icon suitable for residential spaces and exclusive contract projects.

Estimated delivery time: 3 to 6 weeks from order confirmation.
