Designed by Diana Usón in collaboration with Trenat Team, the Ïa armchair pays tribute to the classic silhouettes of Mediterranean furniture with a fresh, light and feminine take.

Drawing on Trenat’s legacy of over 130 years’ dedication to the world of plant fibres, this piece champions the value of local craftsmanship, combining structural precision with decorative details brimming with visual charm.

Its frame is handcrafted from curved natural rattan cane, featuring delicate double arches that shape the sides beneath the armrests, enriched with meticulous bindings of rattan strips.

The seat consists of a solid wood frame over which a weave of rattan strips is entirely hand-woven, ensuring firmness, elasticity and comfortable adaptability.

A chair with balanced proportions (79 cm high and 44 cm to the base of the seat) that lends a natural and warm touch to dining rooms, offices or indoor living areas.
