Its shell is crafted using a meticulous combination of artisanal and industrial pressure-moulding techniques, comprising nine layers of veneer (seven inner layers of beech and two outer layers of hardwood), which gives it extraordinary strength, flexibility and durability despite its slender profile.

This Natural Wood version highlights the organic warmth of the wood grain and is available in a select range of hardwoods. The 14 mm tubular steel leg structure complements the fluid lines of the seat and allows the chairs to be stacked easily (up to 12 units), making it the most celebrated and popular design in the Fritz Hansen collection.
