CUTTER BENCH

Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, Cutter Bench was initially created for the Walk the Plan exhibition. With this idea in mind Niels Hvass has created an architectural bench of straight and robust lines suitable for use both outdoors and indoors.

A simple design of a slat seat assembled in a geometric structure creates serenity and lightness in any space. Each piece used in Cutter Bench is manually selected to ensure that the best and durable parts of the wood are used.

Skagerak oak comes from European forests and is 100% certified by FSC, which supports sustainable forest management. Skagerak FSC certified teak comes from Central America.

Cutter Bench wood comes without treating and the use of products suitable for this type of wood is recommended.

Cutter Bench is made to order and the estimated delivery time is 3 to 6 weeks.

Skagerak

Skagerak es una empresa de diseño danesa fundada en 1976 con raíces profundamente arraigadas en el diseño escandinavo y la tradición de la buena artesanía. Desde su comienzo hasta hoy en día Skagerak sigue siendo una pequeña empresa familiar. Sus propietarios Jesper y Vibeke Panduro siguen reforzando las técnicas ancestrales de construcción de muebles duraderos de alta calidad con el objetivo de producir piezas tradicionales con aires contemporáneos que duren generaciones. Precisamente por este motivo sus colecciones son realizados en materiales nobles y su oferta en mobiliario funcional como bancos, taburetes, mueble de exterior es muy extensa. En la actualidad la firma danesa trabaja con más de 30 diseñadores externos con el fin de ofrecer el mejor diseño y acabados. El roble de Skagerak proviene de bosques europeos y está certificado al 100% por FSC o FSC mix, lo que respalda la gestión forestal sostenible. La selección de la madera es extremadamente cuidadosa y todo el procesamiento es a mano, de modo que sólo se utilizan las mejores y más duraderas piezas de madera en la producción reforzando el objetivo de esta pequeña empresa.
