The TMA floor lamp by Santa & Cole, designed in 1981 by Miguel Milá, represents the most refined and minimalist culmination of the celebrated TM (Tramo Móvil en Aluminio) family of luminaires.

A direct evolution of the classic TMM model, Milá took formal simplicity to the extreme by clearly separating its three essential elements: the base, the metal frame and the shade. Its metal shaft, finished in aluminium grey or matt black, supports a white cardboard shade that rotates freely and is adjusted in height using the iconic rubber O-ring mechanism.

True to the designer’s aesthetic, the lamp is switched on and off with a gentle tug on the cable, resulting in a piece that is visually light, robust in construction and fundamentally economical.

This piece was designed by Miguel Milá for Santa & Cole.
