Meantime by Anderssen & Voll, elegant, light and airy, is a seating series of relaxed proportions. 

Meantime's shape, with wide, slender arms, is reminiscent of the furniture found in the liminal spaces of transport waiting rooms, pieces often created by architects and designers to blend discreetly into their surroundings while providing comfort for travellers or those passing through. 

Composed of a lightweight frame resting on a cast aluminium cradle, the loose, thin cushions are configured to present a solid sofa body with parallel lines running perpendicular to the armrests that extend outwards, the defining feature of the collection.

The materials used in the Meantime collection have been carefully selected to ensure durability. The legs are made of cast aluminium, available in black or polished aluminium finish, while the armrests are made of steel and the frame of wood, which provides a solid base for the soft cushions.

Meantime is available in 3 fabric finishes: 

Fiord: 92% new wool, 8% nylon.

Halligdal: 70% virgin wool, 30% viscose.

Ecriture: 40% polyacrylic, 27% polyester, 18% viscose, 9% linen, 6% cotton.
