Hans J. Wegner designed the CH825 in 1959 as one of several credenzas that, with their tranquil appearance and functional interior, became coveted at auction many years later. In 2014, Carl Hansen & Søn relaunched CH825, on the centenary of Wegner's birth.

When the two roller shutter doors of the Wegner CH825 credenza slide to the side and behind the inner backrest, the inside of the credenza is fully accessible. If, on the other hand, the sideboard is closed, the doors form a continuous, calm veneer surface with the texture of the vertical grain. 

As a grip, a vertically positioned piece of wood is attached via a thin square steel plate to the solid vertical front edge of the door.

The interior of the Wegner sideboard is fitted with a combination of shelves and pull-out trays that, as a starting point, provide useful and diverse storage space. They are divided into three compartments, of which the two outer compartments have two shelves each and the central compartment has four pull-out trays. The shelves can be adjusted as required.

The sideboard can be chosen with round solid wood legs or with a curved steel frame.

CH825 is made to order by skilled craftsmen, and the estimated delivery time is 12 to 14 weeks.
